Development Tools

SoMLabs offers complete reference platforms to start developing with any SoMLabs SOM. The kits provide excellent demonstration features for performance testing and enable reach connectivity options.
Our Customers can choose two types of development tools:

- Starter Kit = VisionSTK
  This is is a cost effective kit with a carrier board and related SOM
- Development Kit = VisionDK
  This is a complete evaluation kit offering full package including a carrier board, SOM, TFT-LCD display, power supply and all necessary cables

Both VisionSTK and VisionDK are equipped with a variety of communication interfaces, including USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI or TFT.
Our solution is user-friendly, all interfaces are easily accessible via physical connectors and headers with standard pitch. The jumper and breakout areas allow easy probing and debugging. Additional built-in buttons, switches and LEDs can be reconnected to the jumper area to support fast prototyping using common input/output methods.
